APPLY ONLINE THROUGH RAVENNA

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton! Our application process for the 2026-27 academic year opens in late August 2025. To learn more about the process, please review the step-by-step instructions by grade level, below.

Note: The application process begins by creating a Ravenna account profile. You can view and track deadlines for every required piece of the Sacred Heart application through a convenient checklist on the Ravenna portal. Please note the deadlines listed within each step as they do vary between grade levels. A successful application will have every required item checked off as “complete” once processed by our Admission Team.

STEP 1

Submit the Application

By January 8, 2026

The following items must be submitted by the January 8th deadline to confirm your interest in applying to Sacred Heart Schools.

Preliminary application form and fee*
Parent/Guardian Written Statement
Parent/Guardian Video Questionnaire
Student Video Questionnaire & Written Statement
Three teacher recommendations (Please note: SHS will not accept additional letters of recommendation into a student’s application file).
Two academic years of transcripts
Optional: Academic Support Center application (due Dec 1)

*Please note: if the application fee presents a financial hardship, please contact admission@shschools.org to request a waiver.

STEP 2

Explore SHS Through an Event

September 2025 – January 2026 (optional, but recommended)

SHS Admission is hosting several events throughout the admission season, including virtual Information Sessions, on-campus Prep Previews and Student Campus Visits to help you learn what makes our community, “the second happiest place on earth.” Please note: all events are optional and attendance has no bearing on the admission process.

Visit the "Campus Events" step of your Ravenna application to register for a Preview Day (open house) or Student Campus Visit.*
Register for our SHS Admission newsletter to receive timely calendar updates and stay in touch!

*Note: Submission of the preliminary application is required for a Student Campus Visit.

STEP 3

(Optional) Apply for Tuition Assistance

By January 8, 2026

We welcome all families who are interested in tuition assistance to submit a Clarity application. To learn more about the process, visit Tuition & Affordability.
