Athletics

Janet Erskine Stuart, RSCJ

The higher we want to fly, the greater the risk. But that is the glorious part of it.
Balance, discipline, resilience, strength - these are the core life lessons found in the Sacred Heart Athletics program across all grades. Aligned with our whole-child educational approach, our students have the chance to learn about, sample, or participate in a variety of competitive team and individual sports, to develop lifelong healthy habits, and to challenge themselves - and one another - to even greater mental and physical heights.

From PE classes in our lower grades, to "no-cuts" sports teams in grades 4-8, to our high school athletic performance, conditioning, and companion sports medicine program, our goal is to provide all students with an environment that is positive, challenging, and fun. And with more than 90% of our elementary students and 70% of our high school students playing on Gator sports teams each year, athletics remains a vital part of the Sacred Heart student experience.
