SHS has eliminated standardized tests from the admission process. We will not request, accept or include the results of the HSPT/ISEE in a prospective student’s file.
“Our intent is to build a lasting and dynamic school family, one that is fully vested in the success of all its members".

COMMUNITY
GOAL IV: THE BUILDING OF COMMUNITY AS A CHRISTIAN VALUE
Sacred Heart’s Catholic identity shapes who we are: an inclusive community that calls on its members to seek knowledge, compassion, justice and forgiveness; to help others and to lead with love.
The school, affirming that all are created in the image and likeness of God, promotes the inherent dignity of the human person and strives for relationships characterized by inclusion and mutual respect.
The school implements an ongoing plan for educating both adults and students in the heritage and mission of Sacred Heart education.
The school engages with the Network of Sacred Heart Schools in the United States and Canada and Sacred Heart schools around the world.
All members of the school community support a clean, healthy and safe environment.
Members of the school community practice and teach with a spirit of peace and reconciliation the principles of non-violence and conflict management.
School leadership demonstrates a conscious effort to recruit students and employ faculty and staff of diverse races, ethnicities and backgrounds.
School leadership allocates financial resources to support socio-economic diversity both in the admissions process and in the daily life of the students.

“What I see from our kids when they come home at night is a genuine excitement for school. They’re excited about the classwork. They’re excited about their friends. They engage us in the same discussions they had with their teachers. We continue to see this thriving for knowledge and this joy of being at school, which not everyone has; to see that in your kids makes you feel really good.”
