Ms. Sen
Ms. Sen attended university in her native Germany, at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität in Erlangen. She spent one year studying abroad at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, and a semester at Mie Daigaku in Tsu, Japan, before earning her Magister Artium in North American Philology and History of Thought, Japanese Studies, and English. First in her family to attend university, Ms. Sen’s longstanding love of learning languages and reading still gives her joy: she makes good use of her local public library account, keeps up with current events, and maintains a four-year-plus streak on Duolingo. Along with running, her yoga practice provides balance as well as an opportunity to maintain a sense of humor. Ms. Sen enjoys hiking, spending time in nature, and traveling. While Ms. Sen joined SHP’s college counseling office in 2013, her relationship with the Prep began in 2001 when she first visited campus in her role as admission officer for Washington University in St. Louis.
