Boys & Girls Cross Country Has Strong Showing at Lowell Invitational

The SHP Boys & Girls Cross Country teams finished 7th & 5th respectively in Saturday's Lowell Invitational. Sophomore Geena Gibbons finished 10th (of 187 participants in her race) with a time 18:14.1, while Max Cluss finished 16th (of 197 participants in his race) with a 15:36.3.
Sacred Heart Prep finished in 5th place in the girls Varsity 2 race.
The Gators Genna Gibbons recorded the 10th fastest time in the race with 18:14.10. Luci Lambert placed 16th with a time 18:39.60 and Keemya Bashiri's time of 19:05.90 was good enough for 25th place. Senior Caitlyn Perkocha turned in a solid time of 19:21.00 in her first ever cross country event, good enough for 36th place.
On the boys side, Sacred Heart Prep was seventh in the varsity 2 race, with Max Cluss its top runner with a 16th place finish in a time of 15:36.3. Sophomore Axel de Vernou placed 22nd with a time of 15:41.90 and fellow sophomore Calvin Katz finished 28th recording a time of 15:53.10.
