Prep report: SHP girls tennis roll over Hillsdale
The Girls Varsity Tennis team improved to 9-5 on the season with a 7-0 non-league win over Hillsdale.
Sacred Heart Prep's No. 2 doubles team of Natalie Dias and Sarah McGrath won their match, 6-0, 6-2, to highlight the Gators' 7-0 nonleague girls tennis victory over host Hillsdale on Monday.
Katherine Salisbury won her match, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 singles for the Gators (9-5, 5-1), who meet Castilleja in a 4 pm. West Bay Athletic League match Thursday.
The No. 3 doubles team of Lindsay Marcus and Emily McGrath took their match, 6-0, 6-0 as SHP players dropped a combined total of five games. No. 1 doubles Natalie Rotenberg and Noorayn Jafri won, 6-0, 6-1.
Also in singles, Isa Robinson won, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 2 singles and both No. 1 Lindsay Lynch and No. 4 Sarah Quinlan went 6-0, 6-0, in their matches.
