The SHP Boys and Girls athletics teams have concluded their fall season.

The SHP Boys Cross Country team had another strong season in 2024, highlighted by a 5th place finish in the WBAL Cross Country Championships. Senior Arjun Singh and sophomore Grant Bennitt qualified for the CCS Championships, finishing 12th and 38th overall in the Division IV race, respectively. The team also earned recognition as a CCS Scholastic Team with a cumulative GPA of 3.798, the highest of all SHP fall sports. Singh received 2nd Team All-League honors, while Bennitt earned an Honorable Mention.
The SHP Girls Cross Country team had a historic season, finishing 3rd in the CCS Division IV Championships and earning an automatic team berth at the CIF State Championship Meet. At the State Meet, they placed 15th overall in Division IV, led by senior Sophie Cheung, who finished 31st overall. Cheung was named a 1st Team All-League selection, along with 2nd Team honoree Avery Wagner, and Honorable Mentions Ashley Amirkhan and Leah Bei.
The SHP Football team claimed their 7th CCS title in program history, and first since 2021, after defeating Burlingame 21-10 in the 2024 Division IV Championship. The Gators finished the season 7-7 overall in the PAL – Bay Division, highlighted by a 21-7 Senior Day win over crosstown rival Menlo-Atherton. Senior Captain Aseli Fangupo was honored as the PAL - Bay Division Defensive Lineman of the Year, while Kyle Chai and McKinley Palmer earned 1st Team All-League honors.
In just their 2nd season, the SHP Girls Flag Football team established itself as one of the top teams in the Central Coast Section. They finished with a 13-7 overall record and 7-4 in WBAL play, highlighted by wins over St. Francis, Riordan, Sacred Heart Cathedral, and St. Ignatius. Sophomore Cate Hansen was named WBAL Defensive Player of the Year. Senior Ellie Shen and quarterback Ryleigh Longaker joined Hansen on the WBAL's All-League 1st team, while Sanaia Shields, Annalia Hood, and Bella Gonzalez earned 2nd Team honors. Freshmen Jocelyn Jones and Gianna Camus received Honorable Mention recognition.
The SHP Girls Golf team had another successful season in 2024, picking up two WBAL wins. Senior Emily Hallum and Scarlet O'Brien both qualified for the WBAL Tournament, with Hallum finishing in the top 15. Hallum, a team All-League performer last season, earned another 2nd team All-League selection this season.
The SHP Girls Tennis team built on last year's success by finishing the season 16-5 overall and 8-3 in WBAL play. They advanced to the semifinal round of the CCS Team Championships. In the Individual Tournament, junior Charlotte Weber became the first Gator since Sarah Choy in 2015 to reach the Tournament Championship. Weber and Jena Azmeh received WBAL 1st team All-League recognition, while Jasleen Chohan and Shannon Bennitt were named to the 2nd team. Audrey Hampton received an Honorable Mention.
Despite graduating 10 seniors from last year's State qualifying team, the SHP Girls Volleyball team excelled in 2024. They finished the season 23-15 and claimed the program's first CCS title since 2012 with a 3-2 win over Harbor. The Gators advanced to the CIF NorCal Division II playoffs semifinal, falling to eventual State Champion San Ramon Valley. Leilah Abrams, Kiley McGibben, and Poema Ueligitone were named to the WBAL's All-League 1st team, while Peyton Fu-Sarosa earned a 2nd Team selection.
The SHP Boys Water Polo team continued their dominance, capturing their 13th straight League Championship, 13th straight CCS Championship, 7th straight CCS Open Division Championship, and 4th straight NorCal Championship. The Gators finished the season 22-10 and concluded 2024 as MaxPreps' 4th ranked team in the country. Their academic performance was equally impressive, with a team GPA of 3.796, the highest in program history and 2nd highest of all Fall Sports teams at SHP. Oliver Marcin, Claiborne Carrington, Nelson Harris, and Luke Kirinch earned 1st Team All-League honors, while Murdoch Baker-Matsuoka and Gates Gamble were named to the 2nd Team. Senior Hugo Thinard-McClane received an Honorable Mention.
The SHP Girls Water Polo team completed its finest season in program history in 2024, capturing multiple championships including the CCS Open Division and, for the first time, the NorCal Division 1 Championship. The Gators finished with a 30-2 overall record and were MaxPreps' consensus #1 team in the country. Vivian Golub, Natalia Szczerba, Megan Newby, and Ellison Brush were named to the WCAL 1st Team All-League, while Casey Coleman and Kiernan Hogan earned 2nd Team honors. Lauren Rossi received an Honorable Mention.
